English artist Matthew Picton has unveiled his latest body of work — a series of paper street maps of major world cities. Done in a unique 3D fashion, each map really brings to life the intricacies of each city. Crafted with a variety of papers, Picton adds extra details through the use of various colors and burnt edges. Mapping cities as diverse as San Francisco and Jerusalem, Picton uses paper not only as his medium but also as commentary on the nature of the cities themselves. You can check out more of Picton’s work here.
