The Punk series brings into attention a new filmmaker. This time, Younji Ku explores this large and debatable theme. The artist is interested both in art films as well as in fashion films. Indeed, in her Punk film there is a mix of art and fashion, and a lot of Dada. The more fashion films we see on this theme, the broader the theme seems. The MET exhibition is, actually, staging something that has changed through the years. And if punk seemed like a very clear area and a well-determined subject, well, in fact it is not.
