In Melbourne, Australia, you can live a theatrical and voyeuristic experience, in The Prahran Hotel, a small city pub turned into a hotel by Techné Architects. The concrete circular booths remained from the previous pub, which were given an update with nice leather upholstering and wood panels. “We were looking for a sense of drama and voyeurism. Booths can be seen from the street, and throughout the interior of the hotel”, says architect Justin Northrop.
