Directional Korean imprint Munsoo Kwoon prides itself in crafting dapper silhouettes via the embodiment of active, youthful themes. While its Fall/Winter 2013 line culled from the theme of “kidult,” its 2014 spring/summer collection draws from soccer as a central motif. Here, Munsoo Kwon express the energy associated with the ubiquitous sport via classic cut & sew and modern fabrications. Using 1920s soccer uniform as inspiration, the outfits of players, coaches and referees sit alongside hooligan-inspired garments – dropped crotch pants, asymmetric denim jackets, eco leather jackets and high glossy long blouses.
