Less than a month from now, in Singapore will open MIA&D Fair, and it will be the first photography, video and design art fair at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands from 24 – 26 October 2014.

Singapore surely needed an event as important as a fair, and MIA&D already had a name, due to the editions in Milano. What is interesting is the fact that Design is a new section of the fair, therefore it is more diverse than the previous editions. What are the connections between photography and design? This is something you can discover once you get to the fair and see the dialogue between the works.

“We are broadening the exposure of talented artists to Asia, with the concept of a unique art fair that has never been showcased before in Singapore. We expect art enthusiasts and collectors will be delighted with this new format.”

MIA&D Singapore is important also because it aims to create a space where artists meet collectors and galleries, and it is a hub for future projects. The Fair has plans about the future of art collecting: it should be well-informed.
